With the LA Auto Show underway, automakers are introducing a variety of new vehicles, including the highly anticipated 2013 Ford Escape Crossover. Those attending LAAS were pleasantly surprised by a great number of updated models coming from Ford within the next few years.
If you can't wait for 2013, check out Superior Ford in Siloam Springs, for the latest Escape models, along with all other quality vehicles by Ford. But some are willing to hold off for the next-gen CUV, and we certainly understand why.
Ford calls the Escape a "Smarter Utility Vehicle" because of its many tech gadgets within, as well as the use of advanced Ecoboost technology - which brings engine power while saving on fuel mileage.
"We call our all-new Ford Escape the 'Smarter Utility Vehicle' because it offers the strengths that customers today really value - fuel economy, versatility and new technology that makes driving and living with the vehicle easier and more fun - all wrapped in a sleek, more modern design," said Derrick Kuzak, VP of Global ProduVPct Development.1
Escape will come with optional 2.0-liter or 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine. Official EPA ratings have yet to be determined, however, Ford estimates the new Escapes will be up to 5 mpg more efficient than today's model. The redesigned Escape is also 10% more aerodynamic.
