The Ford F-150, which is on sale now at our Ford dealership in Siloam Springs, is one of the auto maker's best selling models to date. It's so popular, that the Japanese are pretty much stealing its design overseas
JAC (Jianghuai Auto Corporation) is launching a copycat truck at the Beijing auto show in April, the 4R3 pickup. It looks just like a 2011 Ford F-150.
This pickup will be powered by a 2.8-liter turbo diesel four-cylinder, which produces 108 HP and 177 lb-ft of torque. Take note: this is MUCH less than power produced by Ford's model.
Early spy photos show that the truck's front end looks almost exactly like that of the F-150: note the blue oval JAC badge, black rectangular grille, L-shaped headlight housings, and hood creases. JAC 4R3?s tailgate also bears a strong resemblance to Ford's best-seller, adds Motor Trend Magazine.1
